Policy Commitment: Cross-Ministerial Support for Sustainable Aging Governance

The expo is jointly promoted by nine key government ministries, including the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), and the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA).

The initiative emphasizes building a comprehensive health industry ecosystem by:

• Integrating AI, ICT, medical devices, senior nutrition, and smart living technologies to meet the daily safety and care needs of older adults.

• Establishing a national age-friendly technology evaluation framework to accelerate the adoption of practical and innovative products in long-term and home-based care.

• Strengthening partnerships with local governments, healthcare institutions, and industry associations to promote innovation and align with public policy.
